Steven Jackson Surging in Pro-Bowl Vote

The NFL released its most recent tallies for 2010 Pro Bowl voting this week, and St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson made a huge leap in the standings.
Last week, SJ was ranked fifth in the fan vote, but he has leaped to second this week, trailing only Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
But Steven is still behind Peterson by more than three-quarters-of-a-million votes -- despite the disparity in statistics between the two that tilts a comparison in No. 39's favor.
S-Jax leads the NFL in carries this season with 285, carrying the load for the St. Louis Rams, in the absence of a change-up back. Peterson has 269 carries for Minnesota, but is often relieved on non-rushing downs by backup Chester Taylor, who also has 77 carries.
St. Louis' second running back, Kenneth Darby, has 13 carries this season.
Steven also leads Peterson in rushing yards, with 1,279 to Peterson's 1,200 for the NFC lead. Both average about 4.5 yards per carry. Peterson has 14 touchdowns to SJ's four, but even that stat is misleading.

Is Hip Hop dead, was it ever alive???

The State of industry R&B, Rap/Hip-hop is slowly depreciating. When the world thinks Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive I often think that they are sippin’ the same blue drink he is drinking. LOL...It is clear that Drake is in fact a better lyricist. I often think of artist like LeCrae, or even Eminem being leaps and bounds more talented and better lyricist than a Lil’ Wayne. Or should I say Gillie Wayne, Lil Gillie?

I am no way, shape or any form hating on Lil’ Wayne I just think a fact is a fact. Now moving on to my piece. "IF U ARE NOT MENT TO RAP STAY OUT THE GAME! "That goes for both Christian Rhymers and Secular. Everybody’s dream is to be the next top artist “OH The game has room” You’re right, but, not, FOR U!! In that path we somehow let wackiness in like Nick Canyon, the Here goes the 1 to the 2 to the 3, everybody in the club getting’ tipsy. Wait, what was his name? And cats like Souljah boy. I’d rather watch paint dry than waste brain cells figuring out why, and who signed your simple rhyming selves.

I’m done I don’t even want to waste my life typing this anymore…
Check out that dumb picture above… Unbelievable, the top part is true... Bottom par- I think I just threw up a lil bit in my mouth...

Memento Mori- By Flyleaf

By Deborah Evans Price, senior music editor, GospelMusicChannel.com The brevity of life and man’s mortality are topics that have inspired artists for centuries. They get fresh examination on Flyleaf’s sophomore album Memento Mori, a Latin phrase that means “Be mindful of death.” The songs on the new Octone/A&M album were inspired by a particularly challenging season in the lives of the band members. Guitarist Sameer Bhattacharya’s 22-year-old cousin was battling cancer and lead vocalist Lacey Moseley had a health scare of her own. The band’s drummer, Culpepper, lost both his mother and his aunt. As they began working on the new record with bandmates Jared Hartman (guitar) and Pat Seals (bass), those experiences informed the new music.
Memento Mori was very fitting from everything we’ve been through over the past seven years,” says Moseley. “It was important to us after everything we’ve seen and gone through as a band that we use our chance to speak about something that we felt might last in someone’s heart.
Released on November 10, Memento Mori features standout tracks such as the single “Again,” “This Close, “Tiny Heart” and “Set Apart This Dream.” Memento Mori is being marketed to both Christian consumers and mainstream music fans. “It’s not our aim to be in the Christian market specifically because our music is not just for Christians. It’s for everyone,” relays Mosley. “For the first time since we started, we’ve had a lot of doors open for us to play Christian shows. In the beginning we didn’t play any Christian shows. They didn’t understand what we were doing. I don’t think they really ‘got’ our music as Christian music. Even our own church was like, you’re playing in bars?! It’s not that we don’t want to play Christian shows. It’s just that we’re not for one or the other.” When asked if she feels pressure for this album to be as successful as the first, Moseley responds: “No, I don’t think there was pressure on our side as a band. I know that selling a million records could mean that a million kids hear the message, but I think the pressure is all on the people who we work with [on the business side]. If it all ends tomorrow, I would look back and still be just as amazed as ever. My cup is overflowing and I couldn’t be more amazed over what has happened, but we’re not trying to make a record that’s just as good as the last one. We’re just trying to make one that’s honest [about] who we are."
Bryan’s Words

Being a big Flyleaf fan, I have to say well done on all the songs. At first when I popped the CD in I was like “ok this is different.” But as I listened, and listened I was really overwhelmed by the message.
I give Flyleaf a rating of 9.5 out of 10 for this great album if you don’t have it yet. Pick it up from Best Buy where they have an exclusive fan package for $19 bucks and it includes a T-shirt.
Until next time, Rock on!

Love Kills sometimeZ...

I've tried to look back at my past to see why love never has worked. And I noticed one consistent thing, that all my ex's where with me for either sexual pleasure or status. Sad right? I've taken note of this as I've moved forward. I examined my heart and poured it out to someone this year only for it to look like the above picture. So I continued to move on, I've also noticed that women now like me because of my calling and or gift. As my rap career grows so do the groupies that claim they are the one.

Well Love has killed my thought process so I will not try any longer. If God has in fact destined me to be with someone He will have to scream and shout "THAT'S THE ONE!" other than that. My girl is music... Peace out Bryan
